Available to passport holders from the European Union and a few other European countries. U.S. citizens are not eligible for the e Visitor visa. U.S. citizens should apply for the ETA.
Validity:
- The ETA allows multiple entries into Australia.
- It is valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue.
- Each stay in Australia can be up to 3 months.
Conditions:
- You cannot work in Australia on an ETA.
- The ETA is for short-term stays for tourism or business visitor activities such as attending a conference, making business inquiries, or for contractual negotiations.
- You must be free from tuberculosis and have no criminal convictions for which you have been sentenced to a total of 12 months or more, regardless of whether you served the sentence or not.
